Daily Duties at Halliburton:

• Calculated jobs and figured out how many batches needed to be blended, how many cement trucks were required, how many field storage bins were necessary, as well as, what trucks were going to be loaded in each of those storage bins for each job. • Weighed chemicals, mixed cement, collected cement samples (for lab testing and company records) and loaded cement trucks. • In charge of replacing broken equipment on the bulk plant (valves, actuators, switches, etc.) • Maintained accurate count of materials and chemicals for current and future jobs in the bulk plant. • Operated, loaded and drove cement trucks, Field Storage Bins and Blenders. • Determined appropriate trucks to unload cement into correct containers of field storage bins simultaneously while loading cement on location. • Ensured the correct cement (lead or tail) was sent to the pump truck to ensure the cementer could mix it and send it down hole. • Operated blender, while responsible for mixing the spacer and sending it to the pump truck. • Collected samples of cement, mud and water on location for engineer and lab tests.
