Daily Duties at Hq Us Army G1:

Managed team of 3 contractor developers in the design, development, deployment, and management of over 20 Internet and intranet sites and portals. Designed user interfaces and layouts. Briefed senior military leadership on status of web-based products. Served as central point of contact for HQDA ODCS G1, Manpower and Reserve Affairs sites. Migrated legacy sites from PHP, Cold Fusion, and ASP to new standards including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX, and ensured that they were compliant with ADA regulations. Awarded Army Achievement Medal for Civilian Service for dedicated service to military personnel, military families, and customers. Presented with senior staff coins for work on Army Review Board Agency and Assistant Secretary of Manpower and Reserve Affairs websites. Designed user interfaces and user experiences which influenced design of sites which impact the whole Army. Managed the personnel portal and sites for the Army Knowledge Online Army-wide intranet portal. Actively interfaced with stakeholders and content owners on requirements gathering and project scoping.
