Daily Duties at Discovery Communications:
• Covered the daily desk and account maintenance on broadcast deals for 40+ advertisers on the networks of Discovery Channel, Science, TLC, Animal Planet, Military, Planet Green (Destination America), Investigation Discovery (ID), Discovery HD Theater (Velocity) and Discovery Health • Worked as a teammate with three planners and four account executives to meet the goals of nine DCI networks while maintaining the objectives of our clients • Liaised between agency contacts, Commercial Operations, Marketing and other internal Discovery departments to resolve issues and meet deadlines • Allocated, flighted, created account composites, prepared change notices, and resolved traffic issues • Executed major client sponsorships which include tagged tune-ins, vignettes, in program mentions, pod busters and billboards • Successfully managed and maintained approximately $28 million dollars of inventory across nine networks in first year
