Support the Director of Strategic Planning by developing roadmaps of advanced concepts for evolution of the U.S. National Airspace System (NAS). Act as Principal Investigator for IR&D projects supporting NAS Evolution activity. Establish thought leadership for Lockheed Martin in the aviation community by speaking at conferences and leading industry groups. Chair the Technology Evolution Working Group of the Amsterdam based Civil Air Navigation Services Organization (CANSO). Accept the FAA's invitation to become a member of the NextGeneration Air Transportation System (NextGen) Air Navigation Services Working Group. As an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University, Whitely School of Engineering, teach graduate courses in systems engineering for Lockheed Martin employees in the Engineering Leadership Development Program.
