Supports LMATM Vice President of Engineering who managed more than 1,200 engineers and programmers. provide independent technology, solution or competency leadership across a portfolio of 12 major programs. Takes direct charge of technical development of the most complex solutions. Develop strategies, policies and best practices through leadership collaboration with the technical community. Provide input to product and solution owners on the development of new capabilities and feedback on field experience with products and solutions. Contribute to the development of business cases for solutions and offerings. Provide technical leadership across large Lockheed Martin and partner teams, managing and assuring solution quality, maximizing team output, across onshore and/or offshore teams, and multiple streams of effort. Be leveraged as a pooled resource and participate on the most complex assignments. Maintain awareness of existing or potential customer software/hardware situations. Proactively alert Engineering Vice President, Project Managers and sales team of potential problems based upon strong working knowledge of customer environment. Act as the "technical conscience" of the organization leading a panel of program chief engineers in reviews of project progress reports to provide the Engineering Vice President with an independent perspective. As an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University, Whitely School of Engineering, teach graduate courses in systems engineering for Lockheed Martin employees in the Engineering Leadership Development Program.
