Daily Duties at Earth Link:
Assisted in strategizing and producing materials for sales appointments including technical Visio diagrams of WAN and LAN designs, featuring unique aspects of custom design, and presentation materials. Custom designs included SD-WAN; Hybrid WAN; IPsec VPN; MPLS with connectivity to AWS, MS Azure, and more; Internet; SIP; PRI; and Hosted VoIP using access methods such as 4G Wireless, Metro Ethernet, OC-12, OC-3, DS3, T1, Cable, U-verse, FIOS, and ADSL. Achieved numerous industry-related certifications detailed in Education portion including, CCDA, CCENT, Fortinet NSE 1-3, Airtight ACE, VMware VSP and VTSP. PCI, HIPAA, GLBA, FDIC, NCUA security requirements were required in designs. Attended business-to-business sales appointments in-person and via web conference with sales reps and account managers to perform needs assessments, present, and close deals with solutions of my design using EarthLink’s Enterprise-level and Mid-Market business-to-business product set. In addition to designing solutions, I created training materials and assisted in on-boarding new Sales Engineers to the organization with new hire training consisting including organizational familiarity, product training, and any necessary technical training.
