Helped to write a study grant funded by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Planned and conducted studies involving hundreds of people on the spread of influenza in schools Wrote the informed consent forms and helped recruit participants by giving presentations at school meetings Liaison between academic advisors and the CDC, as well as study participants including, teachers, students, parents and medical staff Developed infectious disease models Published manuscripts in various high-quality journals, including PLoS ONE and BMC Infectious Diseases
