Daily Duties at Institute Of Musculoskeletal Science And Education :

In this role I provide a strategic vision and leadership for the organization with respect to its clinical evaluations. This includes: 1. Facilitate excellent relationships between IMSE, surgeons and study sponsors 2. Write consent forms 3. Prepare Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions 4. Collect, manage and statistically analyze collected data 5. Write and prepare manuscripts for publications and for presentations at scientific meetings 6. Represent the company at National conferences such as: North American Spine Society (NASS) and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) 7. Organize and conduct Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses 8. Clinical resource/specialist to sales representatives and surgeons on the science of new spine and orthopedic products 9. Examples of success studies include: A a retrospective study to evaluate platelet rich fibrin matrix (PRFM) in spine fusion; A prospective study to evaluate the efficiency of a synthetic bone graft as a bone void filler in foot and ankle surgery; and (3) a post-market analysis study to investigate the efficiency of a procedure-based, single-use, bone-fixation concept
