Daily Duties at Roundy's Supermarkets:
• Liaison with business teams to identify project requirements and create scope documents. • Perform data mapping process to identify new data elements from systems outside of the data warehouse. • Create ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) using Informatica to accept data from vendor partners. • Develop operational satisfaction reports and dashboards using MicroStrategy to provide store management a tool to identify and improve customer satisfaction. • Developed SSAS cube and associated SSIS packages to support a company-wide initiative to lower product shrink by providing corporate and store leadership a way to understand both operational and paper shrink trends. • Create and maintain SSRS reports used by all levels of employees throughout the organization to provide insight and assist with business impacting decisions. • Implemented code changes to align fiscal calendars between Roundy’s and Kroger. • Provide off-hours support for issues with critical process flows. • Perform incident analysis to identify root cause and eliminate recurrence. • Migrated SSAS cubes and associated SSIS packages to new servers. • Manage SharePoint sites and data connections to reflect accurate data warehouse information. • Create ad-hoc reports for business teams as requested. • Provide analysis and feedback regarding upcoming changes that may impact the data warehouse production environment to eliminate potential issues.
