Daily Duties at Resources Global:

Direct all phases of projects from inception through completion. Contact all business users and stakeholders to determine project requirements and their needs. Develop a scope and a budget for the project. Locate and qualify architect/engineer firms that could perform the required functions, qualify them. Coordinate with the business users and stakeholders to be sure that the firms were acceptable. Develop a bid package and scope of work, issue bid packages for the A/E firms, analyze the results with the internal resources, and award contracts based on a team's decision. Work with the architectural and engineer firms to develop drawings and bid packages for general contractors, and obtain permits from appropriate jurisdictions. Locate and qualify general contractor firms that could perform the required functions, and qualify them. Issue bids to contractors, analyze results, and award contract(s) based on bid analysis and team recommendation. Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Monitor project progress including implementation, timelines, issues, risks and successes to maintain project course. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Provide regular updates to team and management on work performed, plans, budget and overall status. Direct the work of contractors assigned to the project including from service, technical, finance, contract and administrative areas. Understand and enforce contractual responsibilities, contract documents and provide dispute resolution. Handle all change orders, including negotiating, processing and assessing cost and schedule impacts. Prepare/verify and monitor progress billings to owner and from contractors. Engage in all facets of project close-out; start-up and commission equipment, punchlist, financial close-out.
