Daily Duties at Urj Eisner Camp:

Supervise and mentor administrative and logistics staff of 20 people, oversee all non-kitchen purchases of approximately $100,000, coordinate all travel and transportation for national and international staff and all camp activities. Virtually all responsibilities required immediate attention and constant supervision on a 24/7 basis. Train new staff every year due to typical camp employee turnover. Oversee all full-camp programming requiring attention to the disparate needs of campers from 7 to 16 years old, as well as staff needs whose ages ranged from 17 to 60 and came from all over the world, including Hungary, England, Canada, Israel, Central and South America, and throughout the United States. Responsible for the experience of all foreign employees. One of several director level employees responsible for the overall safety and general appearance of the entire plant, situated on hundreds of acres and including a 19th Century Mansion as well as nearly 100 camp buildings. Responsible for all audio/visual and digital equipment as well as tech for all camp performances and programs. Responsible for all last minute purchases necessary for the smooth and enjoyable running of all camp activities. Responsible for maintaining, purchasing and inventorying of virtually all camp supplies - from art to sports to drama to music. Responsible for all petty cash.
