Daily Duties at Healthnet Federal Service :

Interacting with client to get the requirements for new change in each release. Actively participated in the entire SDLC. Participated in the agile sessions. Developed scripts and also prioritized functionality to test in order to meet the time lines Wrote test plans and test strategy to ensure to compliance with Health Net rules and regulations using MS Office Tools. Wrote detailed test cases including prerequisite, detailed instructions and anticipated results for functional testing and web service testing. Extensive experience in communicating with business analysts, developers for the defects occurs in testing. Involved in manual as well as automation testing defect tracking and defect reporting. Performed Functional, End to End and Regression testing. Performed Smoke testing for a new build. Created test metrics to state the weekly progress in testing team. Sent the Status Report to higher management or to the team. Involved in daily status meeting and weekly QA meeting with QA lead. Involved in attending defect review meeting with QA team, developers and analysts on a daily basis to discuss the bugs occur during testing. Extensively used Quality Center to track the test execution, defects tracking and reporting. Written SQL Queries to access and modify data for the backend testing. Provided technical support to User Acceptance testing team. Coordinated with the offshore team on a daily basis. Created new automation scripts to test new changes in the application and updating existing scripts to incorporate new changes in QTP.
