Daily Duties at Apex Systems:
Recruited as a Senior Level Project Management Consultant at Eli Lilly with responsibility for overseeing the high visibility activities of over 60 developers and architects. Created and Managed over 100 business requirements by writing user stories and facilitating review sessions with the customer for signoffs within 4 months for the voiceNet Clinical Trial customized MS Dynamics CRM/SharePoint 2010 application which saved the company $1M in development rework. Mentored, lead, and motivated project team of Microsoft developers (on and off shore from India), testers, vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders through the hybrid SDLC iterative/Agile methodology. Proficiently managed the progress of the project using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and SharePoint services to track the velocity for the project budget of $3M. Decreased the bug/defects by 50% by holding daily Scrum and triage meetings to mitigate and plan for issues, concerns, dependencies, and assumptions for parking lot and action item tracking. Actively utilized the burn down/burn rate graph to monitor progress as well as weekly status reporting for the Engagement Manager. Directly involved in providing end-to-end demo to Business Owners and Leadership on the developed solution.
