Daily Duties at Deutsche Bank :
• Reviewed and closed alerts using institutional and customer surveillance models focusing on insider trading insider, research front-running, low-priced securities and manipulation. • Detected suspicious and irregular activities and investigated said activity (escalating to senior management as necessary). • Drafted Suspicious Activity Information Forms (internal forms that were often the precursor to a SAR filing) in support of investigative findings. • Worked with AML, Compliance Advisory and various other units on to ensure that all investigations were complete and confidential. • Developed a deep understanding of all bank businesses and the rules related to these businesses, including: asset management, wealth management, program trading, synthetics, etc. • Reviewed, and made recommendations to improve upon, existing low-priced securities policies and procedures as a participant in the Low-Priced Securities Committee. • Developed a deep understanding of all bank products, including: equities, derivatives, fixed income, futures, f/x, swaps, etc. • Evaluated and tested surveillance models in a UAT environment using Actimize software. • Deliver monthly and quarterly alert metrics to supervisor. • Drafted and updated Policies and Procedures and Manuals.
