Daily Duties at Merrill Lynch:
Responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting for Fixed Income and Equity products. Demonstrated expertise in forecasting, processing cash transactions, performance calculations, and various reconciliations along with preparation of financial statements. • Actively contributed to weekend Sungard update teams to improve software capabilities o Reviewed and updated all system enhancements, then communicated results to the team • Ensured effective working relationships were established with Middle Office, Trading, Client Reporting Services and other business related areas within Merrill Lynch • Coordinated activities of various funds with portfolio managers, custodians, traders, brokers and transfer agents o Supported the Investment Managers by providing daily cash and positions availability for both Fixed Income and Equity products o Ensured all cash reconciliations, trade input, accruals and forecasting deadlines were met on a daily basis o Maintained computerized accounts for businesses by analyzing daily cash projections, trade activity, monthly assets, income and amortization reconciliations and corporate actions activity via the Sungard Application • Prepared, reviewed and analyzed client performance reports for all reporting frequencies o Validated monthly each priced security for accuracy regarding client generated reports o Calculated performance of various portfolios and measured against assigned benchmarks
