Manage clients' rail car fleets to ensure: DOT testing compliance; other needed maintenance; geographic car positioning, relative to business requirements; working directly with all railroads to facilitate the efficient movement of clients' rail cars; working with clients' cars throughout Canada, USA and Mexico. Consulted with clients on car utilization metrics. Maintained various KPI metrics to measure rail fleet costs. Audited and approved $440,000 of rail car leasing invoices each month. Audited and approved all repair estimates and final repair invoices totaling approximately $15,000 to $45,000 per month. This position can be categorized as large scale project management. A multitude of details -- all of which could blow up a project if not managed properly.
