Daily Duties at Us Army Recruiting Command:

Commander of the 1st Recruiting Brigade, comprised of eight talent acquisition Battalions, 50 companies, 147 recruiting centers and over 2200 soldiers and DA civilians. Responsible for Army talent acquisition and talent management operations in the northeastern United States and Europe. Plans and executes operations to accomplish an annual mission of over 15,000 Regular Army, Reserve and special skill enlistments. Executes an annual budget of $26 million. Leads diverse talent acquisition organizations located in 13 states, the District of Columbia and Europe; providing leader development and deliberate training. Maintains the readiness of facilities, over 2,000 vehicles and information systems. Responsible for the wellness of the Brigade’s personnel through quality-of-life programs, Family and Single Soldier Readiness Programs and force protection measures. Maintains internal controls to ensure the safety and well-being of the command.
