Responsible for statistical and pharmacogenomics analyses of data and communicating results to external clients via e-mail, conference call or on-site visit. Duties: • Linkage analyses and association analyses (genome wide and candidate gene) • Power and sample size analyses • Permutations and bootstrapping • Quality control of genetic data (call rate, H-W Equilibrium, observed heterozygotes, minor allele frequency) on a SNP basis and an individual basis • Imputation of phenotypic data • Regression analyses (linear and logistic) • Survival analyses • Mixed model analyses • Repeated measures analyses • Area under the Curve and area under the FROC curve • Non-parametric analyses • Write-up of statistical sections of clinical study protocols and reports • FDA representation for clients • Coding in SAS and R for analyses • Daily communication with clients via e-mail or phone • Documentation of data files, programs and results • Supervision of other employees • Management of projects
