• Served as the technical leader for the development of new specialty pharmaceutical products • Managed all phases of drug development, preclinical stages and chemistry developmental projects • Supervised all laboratory personnel and created Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for a safe-working environment • Directed, evaluated, and documented the product formulations, dosage, synthesis, purification, and characterization methodologies • Developed and invented intellectual property portfolios and patents with a focus on oncology and antibacterial treatments • Managed the scale up of formulations, determined the administration methods, and complied with regulatory matters while maintaining QA/QC, EH&S, and GMP activities • Developed, trained, and performed all analytical testing on HPLC, GCMS, NMR, and other related advanced techniques • Developed and executed a plan to build the company’s laboratory that accommodated in-house testing of new products which resulted in cost savings of $350k for a single year
