Developed and handled confidential citizen informants to gather information on criminal activity that was then used to further investigations. Specialized in Hispanic criminal street gangs and interviewed/interrogated hundreds of gang members and associates to build knowledge on culture, motive, associations, and criminal activity. Led and/or assisted on numerous felony crime investigations (i.e., homicide, rape, robbery, assault w/ firearms, etc.) using critical thinking skill and outside-the-box techniques.
