Managed Broadband Product Development Programs • Managed Product Line Managers to develop broadband telecommunication products. • Developed business cases, business plans, and market requirements to support the development of new products. • Negotiated and managed vendor relationships for core technology acquisition and joint development with Newbridge Networks, 3Com, RADNet, Seabridge, Sonoma Systems, Starvision, Terabridge, Castle Networks, and Accelerated Networks, which increased our Go To Market strategy by more than 36 months under my leadership. • Managed “cradle to grave” product responsibilities, including taking products to market, sales readiness, sales and technical training programs, field service and support agreements, manufacturing and production logistics, and price management. • Responsible for overall P&L of over $100 million North American product lines.• Technologies, included ATM, VoATM, frame relay, SMDS, xDSL, ISDN, circuit emulation, TDM, voice, SS7, IP, VoIP, broadband mediation, multimedia, wireless (LMDS), and network management. • Products, included ATM switch’s, integrated access devices, DSLAM’s, PBX’s, routers, mediation platforms, and LAN devices. Managed Broadband Marketing Programs • Created marketing literature, publications, press releases, product launch material, sales kits, and collateral for our telecom products lines. • Provided competitive analysis for telecommunications industry, including core, edge, access, and CPE market segments, which allowed us to create a product strategy to leap frog our competition with innovative features and capabilities. • Performed advance product planning and strategy for next generation product offerings and solutions that allowed us to bridge our customers from TDM and circuit switched networks to IP delivered solutions. • Created market and customer solutions for “greenfield,” legacy, and converged broadband networks. • Managed all business, tradeshow, and conference exhibition activity, including live application and product demonstrations. Coordinated Service Provider & Large Account Activity • Collaborated with major Service Providers and large accounts to collect and validate product requirements for broadband programs. • Responded to RFP’s and special projects. • Conducted customer presentations and technical sales calls by providing product expertise for major account activities.
