Daily Duties at Cisco Systems:

Solutions Sales • Lead technical solution sales in our top Service Provider accounts, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Comcast, Time Warner, Century Link, Windstream, Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, and Territory Accounts. • Consistently achieved at least 120% of goal on sales plans greater than $70 million. • Responsibilities include account ownership, driving weekly financial commits +/- 10%, determining customer strategic business and technical needs, delivering solutions that produce financial results for the customer and Cisco, and creating a “Trusted Advisor” role between Cisco and our customers that delivers greater product and service absorption. • Negotiate customer service and deployment contracts for domestic and international networks. • Manage Professional Services team of project managers and engineers to design and deploy service provider networks on schedule and within budget. • Responsible for maintaining project margins greater than 50% and always maintaining the highest customer satisfaction possible. Manage Strategic Channel Partner Relationships • Manage over 20 deployment partners who are engaged to supplement Cisco Professional Services in order to increase margin and improve time to completion. • Negotiate partner deployment contracts (SOW’s) for domestic and international engagements. • Responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of partner and Cisco resources and delivering the most reliable networks possible. Business Operations • Provide contract support, pricing programs, hardware, software and services bundled solutions. • Create new innovative ways to offer and charge for our products and services, such as Pay As You Grow and Consumption modeling. Design Service Provider Integrated Networks • Design service provider networks based on customer requirements and their business objectives. • Technologies include Data Center, Cloud, SDN, Collaboration, Mobility, Video, Voice, Optical, Routing & Switching, Network Management and Managed Services.
