•Listen to clients, provide support during high stress situations, and make referrals to community agencies to promote client stabilization • Process intakes and walk-ins according to program policy and procedure •Utilizes appropriate crisis intervention techniques for client stabilization •Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation, from sessions •Crisis Evaluation/Intervention: Utilizes appropriate crisis intervention techniques for client stabilization. •Provide peer counseling for client, instructed and assisting the client in the development of a healthy, personal since of self. •Providing a nurturing environment for clients that includes teaching good decision making skills and praise targeted behaviors to encourage development of self-control, self-confidence, and responsibility. •Work to help clients in determining future goals that will propel them ahead in their personal life. •Providing help and consultation through Christian counseling. •Working with a team including health care professionals, counselors, and Clergy to help assist every client we serve. •Perform administrative duties including coordinating meetings, setting up supplies, contracting for services or repairs, monitoring the work of staff members or volunteers.
