Daily Duties at First Occupational Center Of New Jersey:

Responsible for recording financial transactions for various business units including month-end closings, account analysis, financial statement preparation and analysis. Preparation and timely submission of quarterly expenditure reports for state awarded grants such as CBVI and tuition subsidies awarded by NJDOE, governing body that issue rules and regulations for the accounting and reporting of Special Education Schools for disabled children. Sole responsibility for preparing weekly cash requirement schedules which aid in planning timely disbursements of key financial obligations such as insurances and funding of payroll. Pull daily cash balance report and daily update of all bank transactions and balances for Senior Management. Participate in the annual budget process for several business units and import company wide budget into the Platinum and FRX Accounting Software System. Reconciliation of all inter-company transactions as well as ensure Accounts Receivable and Payable Schedules of all Business Units are accurately stated.
