Daily Duties at Heritage House Of Marshall Health And Rehabilitation Center:
I reviewed all accounts payable by coding each invoice with the appropriate ledger account number and forwarding to the Corporate Office for payment. Completed weekly reports for the CEO, containing information regarding census, who had left, passed and was admitted. Completed monthly reports when the books were closed and explained each line item that was not within budget. Ensured the building was maintained and the exterior landscape was also manicured. Walked the halls frequently, and performed spontaneous inservice, as I observed concerns that required intervention. Also reviewed accounts receivable to ensure accounts were kept up to date as policy dictated; I frequently met with family members regarding concerns and would include whatever department it involved. I randomly checked bed-ridden residents for proper care as I walked through the building, and addressed with the CNA, if indicated. I reviewed and approved payroll for all employees, noting overtime for each department and addressed with department leaders any issues regarding overtime. I approved all new hires, disciplinary actions, terminations and reviewing of all criminal background checks. I also maintained the OSHA 300 log, following the employee's injury until returning to full duty. I completed all unemployment hearings, FMLA use, and ensuring all company policies were followed.
