Willis Knighton Progressive Care Center Work Values

Daily Duties at Willis Knighton Progressive Care Center:

We received a list of patients each morning from the Orthopedic Department at the hospital. The Orthopedic Physicians met with the post acute case managers daily to ascertain which placement would be best for each patient. We reviewed the patients that had been assigned to admit to the facility assigned rooms. Reviewed census changes in the morning meeting, as well. Approved all accounts payable weekly and forwarded to the hospital for payment. Reviewed and approved payroll for all employees, noting overtime for each department and addressing with department leaders cause of overtime I made rounds with the Maintenance Personnel each morning to prioritize the building's issues for the day. I frequented the Therapy Gym, particularly when family members were present to address any issues. I randomly checked bed-ridden residents for proper care as I walked through the building, and addressed with the CNA, if indicated. I reviewed and approved payroll for all employees, noting overtime for each department and addressed with department leaders any issues regarding overtime. Met with families regarding their concerns/issues and followed up on those issues regarding the resolutions to ensure their effectiveness. I approved all new hires, disciplinary actions, terminations and reviewing of all criminal background checks
