Daily Duties at Northwestern Mutual:
I was an Office & Operation Manager and a Business Development Manager. 1. Office and Operation Manager (below are not in order of importance) a. Day-to-day operations b. Order office supplies c. Manage invoices d. Interview and hire interns e. Delegate tasks f. Manage cases g. Manage underwriting h. Order medical records i. Speak with clients j. Develop relations with clients and vendors k. Manage inventory 2. Business Development Manager (below are not in order of importance) a. Search Google, LinkedIn and various other sites b. Create lists of small businesses c. Create lists of law firms d. Create lists of alumni’s e. Create lists of professionals with certain titles f. Create lists of clients and their 2nd and 3rd degree friends g. Create lists of lawyers h. Create lists of recent life changing events of various people i. Promotion ii. Marriage iii. Baby i. Create and generate lists of phone numbers and email addresses for all who are on the lists j. Increase face to face meetings from 3-5 per week to 7-10 per week
