Daily Duties at Microsoft Corporation:

Plan and launch global marketing programs to grow revenue and market share for datacenter migration from legacy UNIX and defend from encroachment of Linux. Build and deploy MS Windows Server enterprise testing and certification program and launch online "Certified for Windows Server:" marketplace. Create and launch MS Project credentialing program for Microsoft Learning Division (MSL) Define the product strategy and roadmap •Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification •Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities •Be an expert with respect to the competition •Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product •Perform product demos to customers •Influence pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals •Deliver a monthly revenue and forecast for strategic ("managed") accounts •Develop sales tools and collateral •Propose an overall budget to ensure success • Brief press and analysts and go on press tours • Act as a leader within the company, monthly "Rhythm of Business" reports to Server and Tools division execs. and VPs.
