Daily Duties at U.S. Department Of State:

American Embassy Abuja, Nigeria: 092008 to 02/2010 Position: Special Agent/Deputy Regional Security Officer (DRSO) Duties: Directly supervised two Assistant Regional Security Officers (RSOs), an American and local Office Manager (OMS), ten Foreign Service Nationals, a six-member Marine Security Guard Detachment, the Ambassador’s Nigerian Police Body Guards, a Residential Security Coordinator and 700+ person local guard contract force. Managed the Embassy's investigations, security surveys, physical and technical security projects as well as security for VIP visits and special events. Served as the focal point for Post security programs to protect classified and sensitive information, facilities, and personnel from threats posed by terrorist, hostile intelligence, and criminal elements. Coordinated anti-terrorist and counterintelligence activities involving U.S. personnel or operations, maintaining current knowledge of tactics and techniques utilized locally by hostile elements. Served as a member of the Emergency Action Committee and the Counter Intelligence Working Group, providing insights based upon liaison information and specialized knowledge of security policies and programs. Coordinated the security programs for AID, CDC and DOD/HIV. San Francisco Field Office (SFFO): 11/2005 to 08/2008 Position: Special Agent/Protective Liaison American Embassy Abuja, Nigeria: 10/2003 to 10/2005 Position: Special Agent/Assistant Regional Security Officer (ARSO) Washington Field Office: 12/2001 to 09/2003 Position: Special Agent/Criminal Investigator American Embassy Yerevan, Armenia: 09/2000 to 12/2001 Position: Special Agent/Assistant Regional Security Officer (ARSO) Los Angeles Field Office: 03/1999 to 09/2000 Position: Special Agent/Criminal Investigator
