Daily Duties at Bricktown Galleries:
Managed all aspects of sales, marketing and administration for busy art gallery and frame shop. Managed staff of three employees plus interns. Moved gallery to more upscale location and added small private art school and retail sales of art supplies. Bricktown Gallery was struggling, almost ready to shut down when I took the position as Director, but I was able to successfully renegotiate contracts with suppliers and creditors, dramatically improve the quality of the artwork leading to increased revenue, and turn the company around. The owners then sold the business at a good profit.
