Daily Duties at 787 Quality Core Final Assembly & Delivery:

Quality Planning & Configuration Assurance Lead for Quality Core, FA&D within the 787 Airplane Program. Supported the development and execution of an effective and efficient product verification and acceptance plan that satisfied regulatory, safety, and business requirements. Lead the execution within the FA&D Quality Engineering & Planning Team in determining procedures, processes, and training requirements to ensure consistency in the implementation of Verification Acceptance Plan (VAP) and IP VAP Surveillance Assessments. Supported First Article Verifications, FAA Conformities, and Customer Inspections. Provided input for Quality Plan for 787 program requirements. Provided assistance in the identification, documentation, and mitigation of quality risks. Performed Corrective and Preventative Action. Lead and provided direction, guidance, training, and instruction for Quality Production Specialists skills in FA&D. Performed duties of an Internal Auditor for the BCA IA CAS Technical Customer Support Audit. Trained in AS9100 Aerospace - Quality Management Systems, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective Action. Completion of the RABQSA Certified Bureau Veritas Training for AS9100:2000 Comprehensive Auditor and AS9100:2000 Aerospace Auditor Training Courses. Completed organizational and daily management goals (which include 5/15’s (on a weekly basis), attendance, organization/enterprise certification/training requirements, safety reviews, Employee Time System (ETS), and Required Reading).
