Daily Duties at 787 Quality Core Final Assembly & Delivery:
Quality Core Manager responsible for Quality Planning & Configuration Assurance, and Quality Assurance Investigations (QAI) for FA&D on the 787 Airplane Program. 20 Employees (Quality Planning and Quality Investigators) -787 Quality Planning & Configuration Assurance and Quality Assurance Investigations. Lead Final Assembly & Delivery (FA&D) Quality for adherence to program quality requirements and improvement in organizational and Quality Management System (QMS) performance though Notice of Escapement(s) (NoE) Burndown, QAI Line Checks, and QA Non-Conformance (NC) Queues. Lead and executed with FA&D Quality Investigation Team to facilitate process improvements and standardization. Lead efforts to identify, document, and mitigate quality risks. Lead in the implementation and support of an effective Corrective and Preventive Action System via Rapid Response on Emergent Issues and Corrective Action on EPDs. Lead FA&D Quality Investigation Team effort in determining procedures, processes, and training requirements to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of Quality Investigation and Planning efforts. Lead and provide direction, guidance, instruction, and training resources for improving quality skills in FA&D. Managed the execution of the organizational and daily management goals (which included roll-up of 5/15’s (on a weekly basis), attendance, organization/enterprise certification/training requirements, safety reviews, Employee Time System (ETS), Overtime Metrics, and Required Reading).
