Performed duties of Quality Engineer (QE) for Supplier Quality – Factory Support (Factory Integration Management – Everett Delivery Center (EDC) & Propulsion Life Cycle Product Team (LCPT)) for the 787 Airplane Program. Performed duties of Quality Engineer for Change Incorporation and Refurb (CI&R) for Final Assembly & Delivery (FA&D) within the 787 Airplane Program. Provided Quality Engineering support and facilitated mitigation of “elevated” Supplier Quality issues and achieved closure in a timely manner for 787 Airplane Program. Acted as Primary Focal and facilitated mitigation of “elevated” issues within CI&R and achieved closure in a timely manner for Final Assembly & Delivery on the 787 Airplane Program. Lead complex projects and problems as the go to problem solver for quality improvement projects to resolution. Performed FIM duties as required. Communicated Issues/Concerns to FIM’s, Leadership – SQ Factory, and Supplier Management. Communicated and educated 787 Program on Supplier Quality Processes and Initiatives. Lead or participated in initiatives that supported organizational and/or operational projects that provided process improvement for supported goals and objectives. Utilized methods, strategies, and continuous improvement tools per Boeing Problem Solving Model. Performed Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action. Facilitated and conducted Engineering Walks. Engineering Walk Items identified and burndown achieved. Provided guidance to Quality Specialists as required. Communicated, trained, and assisted in Traveler Package and Reconciliation process between different business units. Created Crew Cycling & Management Shift Rotation plan for Leadership. Created and established processes for Quality/Manufacturing Oversight for Aircraft Storage & Protection within Change Incorporation & Refurb. Provided assistance and support to satisfactorily respond to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Letter of Investigation (LOI)(s) and Surveillance Evaluation Record (SER)(s). Regularly performed internal audits of the 787 Airplane Storage and Protection program. Facilitated tasks within 787 Quality FAA Conformity Process. Facilitated and supported resolution of FAA Conformity Issues with Engineering Authorized Representative (AR) community. Lead effort of QE Integration activity on key issues and./or special projects as defined by D011Z004-01 Co-Location Plan in San Antonio, TX. Actively participated and/or performed in leadership role in strategic planning activities (i.e. Process Improvement, Lean, Value Stream Mapping, Boeing Production System, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), Six Sigma Project). Completed organizational and daily management goals (which include 5/15’s (on a weekly basis), attendance, organization/enterprise certification/training requirements, safety reviews, Employee Time System (ETS), and Required Reading).
