Daily Duties at Northwestern Memorial Hospital:
Provide support to the PRIMES mainframe, and Cerner production platform issues for all hospital information systems. Create, and provide support to MVS COBOL mainframe applications, FTP, and JCL processes. IBM VSAM files and CICS. Create, and provide support to EDI processes (835’s, and 278’s) for several Insurance vendors. Supporting the financial systems by downloading and updating payment files, made by several different medical insurance vendors, and maintaining the applications for handling payments and posting them to patients account file balances. Oncall responsibilities provide (24/7) around the clock technical support for the hospital.
