1- Establishing network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, good-put, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures. 2- Maintaining network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor. 3- Securing network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation. 4- Preparing users by conducting training programs; providing references and support. 5- Upgrading network by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements. 6- Protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential. 7- Accomplishing organization goals by following the organization's rules and it's plans; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
