Daily Duties at Tri City Regional Chamber Of Commerce:

Responsible for marketing and communications of the 5th largest chamber of commerce in Washington state. Develop annual strategic communications plan including tools for departments to track and provide content for daily, weekly and monthly communications. Develop and implement electronic and print newsletters for distribution throughout the state of Washington. Develop creative materials for event promotion including graphic design for advertising. Complete redesign of company website and integrated software engine designed to provide easily accessible content and streamline employee efficiency while incorporating search engine optimization to generate visitation and bench mark effectiveness. Prepare media releases and distribution of approximately 60-80 releases annually. Media relations development including event awareness outreach, ad procurement and placement, and story generation targeted at diverse cultural audiences while accomplishing the goal of developing positive public perception. Press conference development and execution. Government affairs communications. Analyze social media campaign results and track real time interactions utilizing cutting edge tools to manage messaging on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Staff liaison for the Small Business Resource and Recognition Committees. Department budget development and project management. Oversight and development of the Business Development University program including guest speaker procurement, topic development, promotion and execution of the events. Development of marketing reports to provide management with supporting evidence of effectiveness, reach and impact to stakeholders. Development of the organizations annual report generating content and executing layout and production.
