Daily Duties at Southern Company:
I met rigorous organizational standards and objectives by planning and engaging in comprehensive oversight to affirm site contractors perform all activities in accordance to approved site procedures. In addition, off-site reviews of special processes were conducted at management direction to evaluate effectiveness of new technology. My personnel and I performed observations of concrete placements, weld quality, cad welds, HDPE fusion, form work, MSE panel/reinforcing strip installation and Waterproofing Membrane testing. I maintained a thorough knowledge of OSHA, Southern Company safety rules, and safe work procedures. I am self-motivated and project oriented, with the ability to balance numerous projects simultaneously, make decisions with limited information, work in a team environment with diverse disciplines, back grounds and opinions, with minimum supervision. I actively participated in the behavioral observation program to identify leading indicators for industrial safety performance and areas of focus. Sometimes, I would conduct observations with my team members, or with personnel outside our group to get a blend of perspectives on work activities and how we can improve as a project.
