Daily Duties at United Parcel Service:
Managed operations in the Unload and Load departments and directly supervised operations of 50-65 Package Handlers and 8-12 Part-Time Operations Supervisors. I supervised an area, which loaded 38,000 to 55,000 packages and unloaded 80,000 to 120,000 packages daily. My responsibilities included running a safe, injury free workplace while providing excellent customer service and meeting all production goals while cutting costs. I ran strategic planning and cost reduction meetings monthly with upper management. I also lead weekly team-building exercises and employee recognition meetings with 25-30 employees as well as worked with security on special accounts to ensure quality assurance.
