Daily Duties at Worldnet Shipping:

As the Operations Manager for the Chicago facility my responsibilities were to manage the parcels coming into my facility while we safely reprocess them scanning them and relabeling them to ship internationally and placing them in large sacks to be shipped to the airport. I am TSA approved and certified to ship packages internationally. We shipped 300 packages a week out of my facility. My job is to make the SLA times on our packages so they make their destination on time and to make sure every parcel is scanned giving visibility to all of our customers. I currently produce the Master Air Way Bills for the shipment to the airport also in our Netfreight System. My other job duties are to manage my cost and production numbers in our KPI system.

What they like about Worldnet Shipping:

Working for a company with an emphasis on social values and helping society is a clear and important priority for you - a critical factor in who you choose to work for. In contrast to other factors, you place an organization's reputation for fairness and concern for the community above most other aspects of the company. As you search for a new job opportunity, it is usually possible to find out if the company is involved in the community and/or if it is addressing problems and issues in society. Pay special attention to non-profit organizations and those specifically involved in social action. Moreover, speaking with current and former employees should enlighten you to perceptions of the fairness of the company's leaders and the treatment of employees.
