Daily Duties at Fed Ex Ground:
As an Operations Manager I run an area with a total workforce of around 15 employees that are trained to give excellent safety, production, and scanning results for our customers. My area has been injury free since I started. I have a training area so I work with 1/3 of the new hires hired on the shift for 3 weeks then those employees after making company will be moved to other areas and I will be given another batch of new hires. Constant cycling of employees through an area is challenging and you have to be self motivated daily to help train these employees through this training period daily. My area runs on average 10,000 packages a night.
