Daily Duties at Trostel Ltd:

• Managed the accounting and financial operations of three plants: Mexico, Texas and Wisconsin and provide financial support to operating management. • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures and ensure the timeliness, efficiency, and accuracy of internal financial reporting to management including posting journal entries, account reconciliation, month end analysis and financial statement consolidation. • Lead and manage accounting processes and develop, document and monitor accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal control environment. • Direct and coordinate accounting operations including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Payroll, Tax Compliance, Fixed Assets Depreciation, Bank Reconciliation and Cash Management. • Manage the annual budget process and forecast, maintain standard cost, prepare and present each plant’s budget and load into MRP system. • Ensure the timely completion of financial and tax audits including key liaison with external auditors and tax advisors. Ensuring external statutory timely reporting. • Conduct financial modeling, forecasting and business/cost analysis to support the most effective use of assets. Margarita Rodriguez Page 2 • Analyze variances in labor, material, spending and capital expenditures. Identify deviations and initiate corrective actions. • Supports Production and Engineering on BOM accuracy performing periodical reviews to ensure correct inventory valuation. • Provided oversight for IT, supervised Import/Export statutory activities to ensure Customs Compliance and support for manufacturing and inventory verification and control. • Responsible for development and assessment of individual and team performance of the direct reports. • Developed and managed internal financial strategies and plans to optimize business performance in areas such as cash flow, capital investment and risk management. • Analyzed and approved recommendations for capital growth plan and managed implementation of capital projects. • Worked regularly on a peer level with senior managers of Quality Assurance, Materials Management, Facility Engineering Management, Production Management Divisions to identify, evaluate and implement plans and projects in their respective functions to optimize overall short and long term business performance. • Exercised complete autonomy and authority over approval of suppliers, functional budgets, prioritization of activities, business unit budgets and allocation of funds for various functions.
