Daily Duties at Transportation/Airport:

- Oversee accounts payable: contracts, purchase orders, request for payments, travel advances and travel expenses - Knowledge of IRS laws and filing processes regarding W9, W8 and 1099 - Request W9 and W8 for new and out dated vendors before payments are released - Verify W9 via IRS TIN Matching System - Verify W8 via outside Tax Consultants - Set-up new vendors and correct current vendors information - Responsible for Weekly and Monthly Trail Balance - Responsible for problem solving - Communicates clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with internal and external customers
