Daily Duties at Oem Fabricators:

My job was twofold; as the customer representative I handled inquires, quotes and maintain customer relationships. This included communicating challenges that OEM encountered in the building process. In this role I was to match the customer’s expectations to the capability of OEM and look for ways to grow accounts. Second, I was the technical point of contact for manufacturing and the customer. It was my responsibility to review engineering drawings for manufacturability. Additionally, creating and maintaining routes was a major part of what I did. This included creating and processing ECN’s, creating control plans, implementing design changes, and making quality decisions based on customer requirements. When needed, I would work with engineering and manufacturing to find the best was to proceed, propose changes for process improvement.
