Daily Duties at Barnes & Noble:
Supervised, hired, and trained departmental staff that provided graphic images and accurate database information to corporate website (www.bn.com). Wrote and revised technical and procedural documentation on all department systems and programs for user community and technical support staff. Maintained unit costs at minimum by encouraging productivity and coordinating steady workflow. Hired and trained department that researches multiple databases and WWW and contacts publishers directly to resolve information discrepancies between books and on-line data. Troubleshot erroneous vendor data issues.
