Hired by CEO to refocus on category management practices, improve sales and merchandising for multi-format (Marsh, LoBill, O’Malia’s) supermarket chain with over 100 locations, as well as their convenience store group called Village Pantry. -Held full P&L responsibility as well as financial results for all merchandise categories. Managed budgets, approved weekly ads, managed pricing process and results, managed private label team as well as the space management team. Created and implemented daily forecasting tools. Created annual marketing calendar which included all advertising and promotional plans for the year. -Managed overall staff of 150, plus additional indirect reports.
