Daily Duties at General Dynamics Information Technology:

Perform testing and functional analysis of Medicare Part D prescription drug claims. Responsible for reviewing business, system and technical requirements, writing test cases, and developing test data and performing test execution. Responsible for multiple projects per quarterly release and able to manage time effectively as per priority of projects. Review and analyze business requirements, system requirements and technical specifications. Duties will include manual, regression, smoke and stress testing. Develop test scenarios, document test cases, create test data/files, maintain requirements traceability matrix, compile test summary documentation and provide work estimation for test preparation and execution. Maintain familiarity with ODS/mainframe, IDR/Teradata, and BI/Microstrategy for the purposes of testing and validation. Within BI/MicroStrategy, maintain the ability to run reports, and use their common functions (e.g., exporting to excel). Maintain and oversee independent execution of testing activities against test plans and test schedule. Conduct and participate in SDLC Peer Reviews and also detailed analysis of test results. Effectively communicate with management and team lead on testing status and critical testing issues. Participate in problem tracking management to bring defects to resolution. Able to detect defects in projects when there were inconsistency with code and bring it to resolution and resulted to customer satisfaction. Present test cases and/or test evidence to client for approval. Ensure products, applications, documents and systems are in compliance with established quality standards. Experience with 508 compliance process. Participates in special projects as required. Such as the Automated Month-End Validation Process and regression testing. Participated in JAD sessions.
