Daily Duties at Cowabunga Inc/Cowabunga Three Inc:
Month-End Close- review revenue and expense account - make any necessary journal entries Journal Entries – debits/credits, correcting/reversing entries to cash, accrual, and expense account. Reconcile – gift cards, banks, credit card accounts, operating accounts, weekly deposits for 103 stores Payroll – export hours from FOS (store) and recon with hours from PULSE. Import recon hours to Paylocity, ensuring that all account codes, hours, temp dept, and rate codes are correct before approving or submitting payroll. Create Salary batch (autopay) and bonus batch in Paylocity for RD’s and OP’s. Calculate manual checks if necessary for retro pay and other discrepancies. Accruals /Balance Sheet – allocate prepaid expense throughout the year or period and setup monthly recurring expense account Financial transactions weekly– review and code financial transactions for all 103 stores and post transactions using GP integration. AR – Invoice integration through GP, collection, cash application, and bank deposit AP- payables integration, payables entries, coding, analyzing, verifying, and obtaining approvals Construction –obtaining certificate of insurance, surety bond (deposit), review and setup lease agreement, and disburse monthly rents Financial Weekly Reporting – import data from corporate site, calculate% and variance for food, cost, labor, sales, cash +/- , AWUS, via Excel/Vlookup for RD’s and OP’s.
