Daily Duties at Coastcom Inc:

 Managed the engineering department of twelve software and hardware engineers and constantly interacted with Sales, Marketing and Technical support departments.  Procured and tracked engineering department budget process, including presenting them at quarterly board meetings  Led the due-diligence and created partnership with a Taiwanese telecom for new products. Annual revenue of the company doubled in a year  Regularly visited customers and gathered their requirements to create products that were successful. Worked closely with Sales in creating RFP and RFQ responses for the potential customers  Managed the company’s IT infrastructure upgrade. Completed task within 50% of the original budget  Conceived, developed and delivered new controller card. Cost was reduced by 55% while maintaining the same list price, profit alone increased by 40%.  Managed the development and maintenance of software in C language under VxWorks for the Controller Card (ACC) of Advanced Intelligence Multiplexer (AIM)  Led the software team in design and development of SNMP based Element Management Software R-View. This software controls all the R-Series family of products. R-View was developed with Castlerock SNMPc as backbone. Custom menus, Graphical user interfaces have been created in Visual Studio .Net 2003 and Installation package has been created in Install Shield 12.0. AIM and D/I Mux have also been integrated into this EMS.  Managed the team in design and development of tool named D/I Mux Configuration Manager in TCL Scripting Language. This tool helps customers to save and retrieve configuration from the old D/I Mux systems
