Daily Duties at Rutgers University:
1. Extract and process data for complex signaling pathway in oncology by data mining for statistical modeling and graphic analysis. 2. Utilizing sampling techniques, develop and test experimental designs for oncology related research. 3. Interpret research requirements and coordinate research activities to ensure statistical and methodological integrity. 4. Identify relationships and trends between different factors. Conduct data analysis/modeling using SAS or S-PLUS (R). 5. Derive statistical conclusions and make recommendations based on experiment results. 6. Coordinate and delegate the production of data displays (lists, tables, figures & graphs) for inclusion in statistical reports to meet compliance, external/internal regulatory requirements or for presentation. 7.Provide trend prediction, risk evaluation, consultation and training activities in statistics for research staff.
