For my dissertation, I had to plan and execute daily experiments, troubleshoot and optimize any problems, keep up to date on scholarly articles, and prepare monthly lab presentations, while taking graduate classes and journal clubs. I was involved with the editing/writing of scientific articles pertaining to my research. I supervised undergraduate students on their individual projects, and helped teach them aseptic, biochemical, and genetic techniques. I presented posters or presentations of my work at different conferences and events.
